If you long to feel at home in your body
and calm in your mind, these classes are for you.

My yoga classes start gently. We connect breath and movement while building strength, balance, and flexibility.

We flow slowly through variations of sun salutations to warm the body. We practice creative balance postures and transitions. We pay special attention to the flexibility of the spine and hips, and we build strength in the upper body by bearing weight through our arms.

And then, we rest.

Yoga nidra, or yogic sleep, is a form of guided meditation that has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, enhance emotional intelligence, and improve sleep. We use it to focus attention, process feelings and emotions, and cultivate joy. Practices include a combination of body scans, breathing techniques, exploring emotional opposites, embracing paradox, and connecting with a sense of belonging and unconditional love.

After experiencing yoga nidra, participants have reported feeling:

Yoga nidra is a beautiful complement to movement-based vinyasa flow, a mindful practice that builds heat, strength, and endurance.
