Make Space for What Matters Most

What’s truly important, and what can be let go?

Life Pruning is about making room for what matters most in your life. It’s designed to help you reclaim your time and focus. In the busyness of daily life, it's easy to lose sight of priorities and end up entangled in activities that drain your energy without adding value.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Write your way through thought-provoking questions to uncover your deeply held values.

  • Get clear on what’s important to you so you can stop spending time on things that aren’t.

  • Identify time wasters that may be holding you back.

  • Learn three effective steps to eliminate distractions and energize your priorities.

  • Leave with an action plan to infuse your daily life with purpose and meaning.

Embrace the insights, relish the aha moments, and move forward with intention.

All you need is a notebook and a pen.

When: Sunday, November 3rd, 1 to 3 pm MST

In-person workshop: $37 (2 hours)
Hosted by Louisville Community Yoga

What participants have to say about Life Pruning

I loved the insight and support that I found in the online Life Pruning session I attended. This topic can seem so overwhelming, and the questions that were provided to engage your thought process were really enlightening. Jen keeps this topic light and easy while being thought-provoking. I think that it is helpful to hear from others who may be experiencing the same obstacles as well. - Kristin Mobley

Did you know that making space in your physical environment can free up space in your internal environment? It's true.

I am on a BENDER with getting rid of things I don't need, cleaning out junk drawers and closets these days, thanks to my friend, Jen Wilking and this Life Pruning workshop. Making room for MORE—more JOY, more FUN, more TIME, more of what you want and less of what you don't. I feel lighter, more centered and ready to move into 2024 with a compass and a plan.

JOIN THIS WORKSHOP. Give yourself this GIFT of time and presence and clarity. It’s fun, especially in community. Plus, do you really need all of those mugs or spices from 1999? - Lisa Hamilton

I just finished a session with Jen on "Life Pruning" and I'm so grateful for the timing and presentation of this helpful and enjoyable class. As we begin a new year it was the perfect time to incentivize me to take on some concrete decluttering tasks, as well as provide time to reflect on my personal values and how to honor and nurture those values in the coming year. The decluttering ideas hit home: general categories like closets and drawers were complimented by encouragement to assess very specific items (way too many socks in my drawer that might be useful to others!). Specific goals, specific actions - so helpful! As for defining my personal values, I was pleased to discover that what surfaced felt recognizable and worth reaffirming. I will move into the new year feeling good about donating all those socks, but more so feeling the strength and rewards of reminding myself of the importance of my values - family, friends, health - and the gifts they give to me every day! - Jan Martinez

I really needed this. It was eye-opening in a way I didn't expect at all. It's been a difficult year full of constant caregiving and survival. We've survived. Now what? I'm finding that things I thought I wanted I don't want anymore. There are things I want to let go. And things I didn't think I wanted are so important to me now. I was feeling confused and conflicted. This helped me to focus. It's been very helpful. - Robin

Jen's Life Pruning was just what I needed! Anyone and everyone would benefit from this great workshop - whether you are ready to kick start your new year or you get the urge to do some life pruning any time of the year. She offered us several thought-provoking questions and journal prompts. These helped us unearth what needed to be pruned, why it needed to be pruned, and how to do it. I also really enjoyed interacting with the other attendees in a supportive community. Although our goals were different, the commonality of the importance of pruning was evident. It was lovely how the group shared thoughts, inspirations, and ideas that I can imagine were shared to some degree by us all. Jen held space beautifully and facilitated such a great workshop that I encourage everyone to partake. She also gave us an awesome physical decluttering checklist which I am excited to check off bit by bit. I look forward to doing another one next year for sure! - Sasha Woodard
